SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½ Holds Sixth Annual Premier Dealer Championship
October 26– Altoona, IA. On October 16, thirty SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½’ table games dealers battled it out for the top spot in the 6th annual Premier Dealer Championship (PDC). An awards ceremony will be held at a later date. Winners will be awarded certificates, engraved crystal trophies, and more than $6,500 in prize money provided by AGS, IGT, Interblock, Novomatic, TCS John Huxley, Aristocrat, and Light & Wonder.
The Premier Dealer Championship celebrates the craft, artistry, and passion for the art of dealing. The tournament was introduced at SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½ seven years ago and mirrors similar competitions held throughout Europe. This year’s tournament was organized by James Nelson, Bryan Eenhuis, Joe Rhodd, Steve Petesch and Director of Casino Operations, Rod Suhr.
Employees look forward to this event each year and welcome the friendly competition. In the weeks leading up to the tournament, participants practiced in the table games training room at SA¹ú¼Ê´«Ã½. The Premier Dealer Championship provides a creative and competitive outlet for dealers and an opportunity for them to be recognized for their skills.
This year’s head judges included James Nelson, Bryan Eenhuis, Joe Rhodd and Steve Petesch. Competitors were judged on their roulette, craps, and blackjack skills: speed, presentation, gaming knowledge, and guest service expertise is scrutinized. Winners were selected for each category, with one Best All Games Dealer crowned. Chad Godfrey was named the Best All Games Dealer and Craps winner, Blackjack winner was Sasha Grillot, Roulette winner was Sreyoeurn Molitor, and Rising Star winner was KB Tran.
A special thank you to the Premier Dealer Championship Sponsors: AGS, IGT, Interblock, Novomatic, TCS John Huxley, Aristocrat, and Light & Wonder.
